“The Contents of the Dead Man’s Pocket” Conflicts & Surprise

The name of the story is called “The Contents of the Dead Man’s Pocket”, when Tom re-entered the apartment he actually was dreaming the entire time. He struggled when Tom was on the ledge which made him freeze with fear. He was crying on the way to the other side of the ledge so that. The dream was the external conflict. The fear was the internal conflict. The evidence in the story was - "He heard the sound, felt the blow, felt himself falling forward, and his hand closed on the living-room curtains, the shards and fragments of glass showering onto the floor. And then, kneeling there on the ledge, an arm thrust into the room up to the shoulder, he began picking away the protruding slivers and great wedges of glass from the window frame, tossing them in onto the rug. At the very end evidence shows, -"Tom Benecke burst into laughter and then closed the door behind him." which was a dream.

I feel excited about Ms.Priester's class because I know that I can do better than last year. Last year was my failed year but I can recover my "F's" for last year. I might have summer school next year in order have an accurate record of high school. Get caught up academically rather than failing again, then repeating the same cycle. Class work of course needs to be done in order to pass, listen to the teacher's instruction. Warm-ups are very important as well, it may have little credit but as they add up it may get me to pass. 10 Second sound off is what my weakest skill. I'll get better soon.

 When I was a boy probably about six or seven I remember being lost at target, and had no idea where my parent's went. Because I was playing with this robot arm that was made by lego's, it was the coolest thing I ever encountered before. So then I was left behind lost with fear, I ran around crying and trying to figure out where my parent's went. It was my fault for not following my parent's, and really crowded with adult's. It was christmas time and had no idea what to do, so then a employee had spotted me then took me to the counter. The lady asks my name, I say Andrew then right when the employee is about to say my name my mom come's out of nowhere says "Andrew! Where did you go?!" She was pretty pissed that I had got lost, so she grabbed me.

Dragons' Den First Semester Week 1: Colors

What color represents me? Blue, I don't know why but for some reason ever since I was six or seven I always picked blue whether it were a video game and always choose anything that had to do with blue. I also always picked the color blue crayon, and a blue marker, everytime we did something as a group activity. I love blue, and at San Pasqual it's my favorite color. Blue, is also a character in Blue's Clue's and watched hundreds and thousands of times. I also watched Dora, Benny the Bull who is blue. Blue is the best color to me, there's no explanation. The sky is blue, the ocean is blue. Priester's wearing blue, I'm wearing blue.

Plot: Movie Plot Summary Paragraph

In the movie "The Day the Earth Stood Still" is a movie about extra-dimensional beings from space. Alright the setting of the movie takes place in 1928, a very bizarre adventure in the snowy mountains of India. The hiker encounters a glowing sphere. The man touches it, and is knocked out. His memory's are forgotten, the sphere is gone and left with a scar on his hand.At the climax of the action, I am thinking that this glowing sphere has something to do with extra-terrestrial related. At the conclusion of the movie I was thinking there's some way to contact the extra-terrestrial beings from space, but something seemed wrong because the guy who touched sphere became some kind of alien. Then while the man is recovered from his injuries, Klaatu takes on the appearance of the man who is an extra-terrestrial being or also called an alien and is captured then held in a private lock down facility. He tells the United States of Defense that he rep's a group of alien races sent to talk to the United Nations.

First Day of School Paragraph 2011

When I woke up on the first day of my sophomore year at San Pasqual Academy I thought to myself, man school is starting so early?! I woke up late since I knew it would be a sleepy day. I slept in a few 15 minutes and got all ready for school in a hurry so that I have breakfast to eat. I ate eggs, toast, and a bagel. I wished it had been pancakes because it's the first day of coming back to school. The meal made me have energy to get going and eventually head to my first period class. After 1-4 periods has gone by, I head towards the cafe to eat lunch, the lunch was horrible. It was some kind of burrito with red cheese, but the sauce or cheese tasted really slimy. Later, I had a encounter with Johnny the chef because I have his class. Seeing him again since I had him throughout summer school, he gave me a D- which pissed me off because I did what was asked. Towards the end of the day I felt great, that this school year is going to be amazing.
