Sweet TB

Have you ever had loss of energy, cough, loss of weight, or night sweats? Once a person is infected, he or she risks developing active tuberculosis, and that risk can remain throughout life. An estimated 1.7 million people died from TB in 2009. The highest number of deaths was in the Africa Region. Tuberculosis is a very strong infection, get help if you have these following conditions, loss of weight, loss of energy, poor appetite, fever, a productive cough, shortness of breath.
According to these conditions in ‘Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’, these harmful conditions are indeed dangerous and may need seeking of a health professional, TB will eat away cells that are active causing the immune system to shut down. Which will eventually kill you slowly, in a matter of days. According to researched data on tuberculosis, ’Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’ an estimated 1.7 million people died from TB in 2009. The highest number of deaths was in all throughout the United States. Many were killed by this plaque, and by not getting treatment of this disease, it may result in activating old infection. Making the micro-bacteria active.
Usually a person has to be close to that certain someone with TB disease for a long period of time. TB can usually spread in between family members, close friends, and people who work or live together. According to ‘Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’ as what doctors say. It will not spread if your walking past an infected patient, the only way it will spread would be sitting in the same room together, and of course living with the diseased or infected patient. TB is the most dangerous caused of death throughout the world.
Most people who are infected do not develop TB disease because of their body's defenses protect them. Meaning it's not as strong as the TB infection, according to ‘Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’ the disease is a whole different process. In order to get the disease your immune system must absolutely shut down, so that the disease will become active, and is not as easy to become infected by TB, or tuberculosis. An infectious disease characterized by the growth of nodules (tubercles) in the tissues. the lungs, caused by the bacterium Mycobacterium. Together we can fight off this terrible disease.
People with TB disease must complete a course of 6 months or even more. 41 million TB patients have been successfully treated in DOTS programs, and up to 6 million lives saved since 1995. 5 million more lives could be saved between now and 2015 by fully funding and implementing “The Global Plan” to stop TB 2011-2015. Hopefully tuberculosis will eventually come to an end, and finally this plaque will no longer be an active disease upon humans. May we live in harmony.

The Odyssey Final Draft Essay
Period 1
7/29/11

In the Odyssey theres a meaning throughout this poem that will teach you a lesson or two. For Odysseus, he did well on this magnificant journey to going home. Is it easy? I think not, he is challenged by obstacles that may block his path to succession. What would happen if you were taken form home, not this foster home but home with your relatives or parents. Just a place where you love, and some UFO spacecraft is about to obduct you. That’s pretty much the great story of the Odyssey. It becomes actually a learning environment your in once you start reading the Odyssey.

When Odysseus became stronger as he was weak before became a hero. For example, it was kind of dirty to eat the cattle even he was told not to. He was hungry as well, I can see that was most difficult not to. What’s even worse than starvation, drowning. For example, Odysseus drowned with this crew but successfully got away thanks to his angel or god. My favorite part of the story was when Odysseus steps up his game and kills Polyphemus or Cyclops. This also shows that Odysseus has the will to get back to his wife Penelope, and home. Because it’s bound to happen. In addition, this shows that Odysseus is fatefully to choosen do follow the right directions or paths that lead him to success. From reading this story Odysseus succeeds as well, and also being with his wife.

As we encounter Odysseus we later know he’s doing positive things, that he makes positive choices which are. Hermes the God of Speed comes to pick up Odysses. He tells Calypso to let him go. Calypso says that his journey will be bead, but lets him go. For example Odyssues hopefully swims to Calypso’s island. Odysseus makes negative choices, for example eating the sheep which Tiresias warns him about. He does not listen to Tiresias and disobeys his order and the prophet is bound to happend. As he kills Polyphemus or Cyclops, the son of Poseidon the God of the Sea. Attempts to drown his crew in the ship, but swims on shore.

When the end is coming since Odysseus completed his quest by facing his fears that made the story or myth so successful into becoming a hero. It may not look like he’s a hero because Odysseus eats the cattle which is disrespectful to the Elder Gods. That is why Zeus thrusts a lighting bolt that kills most of Odysseus men. Even so, he’s safe with Penelope and back home safe. The purpose of the story is to face your fears, learn that disobeying orders will eventually have consequences. To show your true identity always, and never trust Odysseus because he’s not the type to be trusted. I have learned that throughout the story.

Romeo & Juliet Acts 4 & 5 Content Paragraph - Deaths

Well fate is bound to happen except the fact that if you follow the right paths, great things will happen. Choosing the path to failure leads to a bad future. Choosing the path to succession, proceeds with your goal or dream. Objects may block the path but are you ready to deal with such difficult tasks. Prophecies are forever true, what happens, happens. For example, pretend your on a bridge with worn-out ropes. And once you step on it, the rope slightly rips. Once you apply more weight it's definitely over, so with succession of believing in yourself you cross the bridge without no harm. Now in "Romeo and Juliet" it's a whole different story, as Romeo kills Tybalt in succession for his friends revenge. Romeo is to be hanged or to be sentenced to die, for killing Juliet's relative Tybalt. After the sentence announced in to the families, Juliet heads to Friar Lawrence. Getting put to sleep is a bad choice in the beginning, which is fate. Fate, and human errors.

“Romeo & Juliet” Love Letter – Acts 4 & 5

Dear,
Juliet

Baltizar has came to my presense to report to me that you are dead? How can it be my destiny? This poem is to be given to you immediatley. You're dead.  My quest is to be at your assistence through your tomb if you are there. I am banished but forvever I will get a hold of your beauty, my dream that has come upon me. I cannot wait, that I Romeo will ride my horse. On my path, as I encounter a priest getting off a horse.

I am at your tomb. What have I done? Me Romeo to deserve such grief upon thee? My sins have put this in fate. My wife, love of my life is forever forgotten in this prophecy of hate and fate. If I were to bow to the elder gods, I am to be wildered for my unmannered monstrosity. As I gratfully accept that my wife has her last breath. Death is for what awaits me, to seek you throughout the heavens. For it has showed me truth effortlessly, this prophecy of ours will eventually come to end. As we succeed, the Realm of Heaven as we seek the lords have sought our love. Always and forever, my love.

Your Husband,
Romeo

Romeo & Juliet Act 3 Content Paragraph - Rules

Breaking the rules are being defiant with their duties of respect, making others look bad because one cannot behave or obey any directions that are given. For example, if I make a mess in the kitchen and one who's older than me tells me to clean. Which would be a task, then I say "no".This would probably be breaking rules or things that are being told. The consequences here would be restriction, at home the consequences would be me getting hit my my grandma or grandpa but even though people use different vairities of getting me to do something. That's how I learned and when something is being asked of me it's done. I respect my elders and you should to, good karma or bad karma.

Odyssey Part B - Content Paragraph - Women

When representing a lady it would be this female symbol above. It might not look but it represents a female gender. Such as this symbol below, has a dress like a women which means lady restroom or women  restroom which makes no difference. The symbol of Roman goddess Venus was used to represent sex or gender. When we continue reading Odysseus Part B we will later on learn who Venus, Athena, Arette, Scylla, and as we encounter Calypso she will be more of the important one. That's my thought about this interesting book of Roman and Greek gods, I think it's more Greek than Roman.

“Romeo & Juliet” Love Letter – Act 3

Dear,
Juliet

I killed Tybalt! I'm sooooo sorry, maybe if I hadn't done something without thinking! I'm so stupid, for that I'm banned from the village. I'm sorry, I hate myself! Now that I killed your cousin I'm cannot even see you. I wish that I can rewind the past. I regret it, Lawrence hit me earlier and my head hurts! I deserve everything that I'm about to expierence. But when or if I die, all I want to say is that me Romeo loves you.

Always and Forever,

Romeo

Romeo & Juliet Cool Tool- Love Letter Act 2

Figurative Lanuage Content Paragraph

An example of onomatopoeia would be included in a knock-knock joke; and what about the joke: Knock-knock. Who's there? Boo.  Boo who?Don't cry, I was only joking. Even though it's a joke I'm using onomatopoeia. An example alliteration would be Dan’s dog dove deep in the dam, drinking dirty water as he dove. Meaning the dog played in the mud or a dirty puddle. An example of an internal ryhme would be Now we had arranged, through notes exchanged. Early that afternoon, at number four to dance no more,
But to sit in the dusk, and spoon. I have a hard time figuring out what this means but it's saying the person danced for a long time.

Romeo & Juliet Act 2 Content Paragraph - True or Forbidden Love

I think it's true love, they interact with each other like a spark lighting on fire. They share emotions by giving brief poems about how much they love each other. Plus the prince named Paris is way too old and Juliet is only 13 and Romeo is 16, so theres no age difference. If he was 18 then it would be wrong for him to even kiss her.

“Romeo & Juliet” Love Letter – Act 2

Dear, Juliet

I'm glad we are married in just two days that we met. Father Lawrence is pretty fustrated at me. I hated listening to this guy yell at me. But since we were married from him I take that back, he sacrificed alot to make us what we are today. I love you alot and hope our marriage lasts a lifetime. Just know that I'm here for you anytime, call me and I will be there. What is going to come soon is also left unknown, know that there's a time when we might argue, but this I say it's only a virue. But the essense of me can be forbid, only if you wish to. I love how your hair is black, the way your hair falls to your back. How your eyes gloom so shiny, how your height is also tiny. Your complexion is soft as baby, smile makes me so crazy. I'll go out and pick a daisy, even though I'm lazy. The best thing of my life, even though I carry a knife, I love the way you are. Even though your prettier then the stars, bright like an angle, I'm glad your not an ugly devil.

Sincerely,

Romeo

“Odyssey”: Before You Read – Part A – Heroes

A hero is someone that defines history, someone that's a savior. Saving the world would be fictional but is also a hero. Heroes that journey on quests are considered a hero, because a quest requires alot of skill whether if the quest is difficult or not. For example, fighting a minotaur that devours everybody at night. For years and years in some village, then finally a hero named robin hood arrives to grab some food. The King of Sudan approaches this warrior with a task for him. The hero says "okay, but only if you grant me riches in exchange." The King replys "I'll give you many riches young warrior," the hero robin grabs his sword and his bow. Since he's a combat fighter he takes his shield, so as day passes Robin sights this demon then gets ready his bow and strikes the beast in the neck, runs after it and as it limps the hero slices it whole down his stomach. The beast falls to the ground dead. This would also be a external conflict.

“Romeo & Juliet” Love Letter – Act 1

Dear, Juliet

When I sighted you Juliet, I had the disire to grant a kiss and express my poems in which were created the moment I caught the sight of beauty. Maybe I got a liitle too carried away. As I took my mask off to show you my identity, but as we met we rushed things a little to fast. I liked another lady named Roslin, my feelings towards her was not bashful as for you, that has changed my life throughout my journey to meet you. I have no idea what will come upon me in the future are still unknown and think it will become dangerous, but even so becoming your prince is hard and impossible since I'm only a pilgrim and townsman. As though I am not relying on royalty, I am going to visit you surpisely in your background. Located in the tree's of your back yard my love, as though it's not the right thing to do. My relationships with you are suicide, but as for you suicide is my only option.

Sincerely,
Romeo

Figurative Lanuage Content Paragraph

Basketball's my favorite sport.
I dribble up and down the court.
The ball goes bouncing above my toes
and I hope I will ever be with the pro's.
He stumbles back and grabs his nose
and hits the wall and down he goes.
The other players stop and stare.
They've never heard the teacher swear.
With no one scoring anymore.
I grab the ball. I shoot. I score.
I love this game! It's so much fun.
Coaches cry, but we have won!

And there's no telling if I'm done.

"Legal Alien/Extranjera Legal" Before You Read

It's hard to explain this sort of topic. I felt I was in the middle of reality and fake feeling, sometimes I think reality is in our dreams and this is just an illusion that we can only leave as we sleep. My staff says that dreams are supposed to tell you everything and it's like a puzzle that has to be solved. Anytime I sleep and wake up my memories go blank and can't remember a thing. Some people who are into this sort of stuff have note books neaar their desks so that they write down everything before the person forgets. This is tough I always dream of jumping so high that I'm 500-700ft in the air. Does this mean I have a goal to jump higher or is it a sign that I eventually am. Theory's are that we leave out body as we dream, this is crazy. If that then where do we go??!?!?!?!?

"Romeo & Juliet" Before You Read (instead of Presentation & Notes)

William Shakespeare was born in England, in 1564. In the village of stradford. Married at age eighteen and later moved to London, Shakespeare is one of the greatest writers which involved english and language, one hundred and fifty four sonnets. We would be below the stage called the pit of the Globe Theater, if we were rich we would sit on the edgings of the theater. He wrote poems that related to english, he's probably the greatest writer of all time. He might even be the founder of english language, but that's my theory.

"Ballad of Birmingham" Before You Read

I wouldn't be to glad or happy about some random guy writing a poem about my life, because my life's story is to be locked inside me whether than to put my business out there. If wouldn't be to comfortable, I never met this guy writing a poem about me what would be the reason to write a poem about me, for what purpose. Now if  he was my long lost friend then maybe, otherwise I would deny the approval.

"I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud" Before You Read

When I look into these orange groves I only see nothing. A place full of  wilderness, it has no oranges because it was harvest or sold. The orange groves at SPA are like regular tree's, but before I walked through this adventure of wilderness with Stephon. We approached this vulture and it was almost 4 feet to about 5 ft tall. All black and dark as charkel, features of a raven and a falcon. There were three of them, eating a rabit like some savages but since they are big of course they killed the rabit. Three on one? Why can't one kill another?

Figurative Lanuage Content Paragraph

Literal and figurative language is a distinction in traditional systems for analyzing language.  Meaning that theres more to metaphors and similies and personification. They are not just words, it's words that help you create images that are unothadox. Things that will confuse you if we didn't study these kind of poems, understanding metaphor's will help you understand what the message in a story or poem, same thing as smilies and personification that are figurative languages.

Dear President Obama,

"Boy at the Window" Before You Read: Silly Childhood Fear

When I was little, I was afraid of height's on roller coasters. But now I think it's pretty fun and exciting like when your stomach tenses up. My worst time being afraid was in California Adventures, a roller coaster called "Screaming Mountain" and had real fun even though I was afraid of looking down. It actually went upside down, or looped and went at least 90-110 mph. So if I wanted to ride this roller coaster I closed my eyes all the time, but recently I rode this roller coaster in The Del Mar Fair and almost fell off the ride. I don't know what it was, when I got out my thighs were sore, neck was sore. Almost fell down if I didn't lose my grip, so I thought about playing basketball, going to school, childhood memories, close to death I held on throughout the ride. Would I have died or would I have been in a wheel chair, or another broken arm in which I already have broken. I'm lucky and I bless god that I"m here as of today.

"The Seven Ages of Man" Before You Read: From My Rocking Chair

"Hello youngster I'm going to tell you a story of mine." Andrew pats his son's hair and tells him a story of a life time. So it all started in Paradise Valley Hospital, San Diego California. I had a hard time growing up, being stubborn as I am today. Starting kindergarten in Ms.Freeburn's class it was hard for me to spell my name, read words, but then my mom put me through hell. Making me read every sentence in "No, David No!" I didn't know anything, I did what was told. When first grade came along in Ms.Fogel's class she made me read as well. When third grade came along Ms.Monroe pulled my ears, yelled at me to pay attention. Then finally she taught me multiplication and now multiplying is like learning the ABC's for me. Fourth grade was hard because multiplying then turned into division. Reading out loud, but the best part is recess. Now fifth grade was coming soon, my dad made me work and work until I mastered multiplying. Years passed and here I am 15 years, other things has happened but for now erase the past and become successful. Failure is not an option to where I'm heading. "So little one, follow your dreams and live it well."

Imagery Content Paragraph

The winter evening settles down
With smell of steaks in passageways.
Six o'clock.
The burnt-out ends of smoky days.
And now a gusty shower wraps
The grimy scraps
Of withered leaves about your feet
And newspapers from vacant lots;
The showers beat
On broken blinds and chimney-pots,
And at the corner of the street
A lonely cab-horse steams and stamps.
And then the lighting of the lamps.

"American History" Before You Read: Discrimination

The time when I got discriminated was when I moved to boys 4. The only time I ever been discriminated, even if I'm half filipino and half white. It does not offend me in anyway, it sucks. You just have to ignore them for being stupid and immature. But listening to that only pushes me to go further, try harder, and become more successful other than taking it personal and making it an obstacle blocking my path to success. My negative remarks that I ever said or done makes me feel guilty after the results. I try to not say things that will harm my peers since I have done that in the past. By doing positive remarks, this will create positive karma as well.

Kennedy Nonfiction: Before You Read - Primary or Secondary Source

I would want to learn about a primary source about J.F.Kennedy's death. I mean he was about to discover life on different planets which meant to evolution. But as of today John F.Kennedy's expierement is still active. So what ever's happening in NASA, or Area 51, it's kind of sad how we don't know what's going on, what were dealing with, what is being held captive. That's crazy if we approach an alien species, changes reality to have seen another active humanoid. There's hover boards being built, but anyway when he get's shot doesn't this lead to anything, my theory would be hiding a humanoid. Something absurd, would Kennedy have changed anything, or would he tell the truth while the illuminati come's up with a plan.

"American History" Content Paragraph

John F.Kennedy's death because there's a million friends waiting to be met, and JFK is way more important. He was about to change the way of racism, and Eugene is just a kid, so when JFK's life came to an end, racism was about to come to an end. But when that new president came to fill in Kennedy's spot it became more strict on racism. John F.Kennnedy's death is important as I said.

The sun blended into the mountains making mountains overshadow, making it look gloomy. It was nice, but the part were I blossomed was getting down this 600ft mountain under 30-40min then it hit me, I knew it wasn't possible but Pablo, AJ, and Kevin were like wild apes jumping;running down the steep edges. So that pushed me into doing the same so I was leaping and running, and finally I became to surpass my fears. But I glared at the top of the mountain then it was almost as a dream. I was not hurt except for my shoe, it ripped on the edging of a rock.

"The Lady, or the Tiger?" Before You Read: Choice

It occured in 2008 when I lived with my grandparents who were very strict. When I first lived with my grandparents was in 2003 I believe and because of living with them for so long I began to think where am I going to be, what's my future later on. So as years passed I became so rebellious towards my grandparents and had no control over myself. I got into fights when I entered Bell Junior Highschool, when I used to fight I would always hang out with "chulo's" who were always getting into trouble in 6th grade. When 7th grade started I thought I banged because of hanging out with them. Doing drugs, beer runs, just bad influences. Then I finally realized it was the time to stop I got sent to juvy. I hated being there, so this is my short story without any personal details.

All of these people that have heart pounding fear is actually better at succeeding rather than failing.
