An example of onomatopoeia would be included in a knock-knock joke; and what about the joke: Knock-knock. Who's there? Boo. Boo who?Don't cry, I was only joking. Even though it's a joke I'm using onomatopoeia. An example alliteration would be Dan’s dog dove deep in the dam, drinking dirty water as he dove. Meaning the dog played in the mud or a dirty puddle. An example of an internal ryhme would be Now we had arranged, through notes exchanged. Early that afternoon, at number four to dance no more,
But to sit in the dusk, and spoon. I have a hard time figuring out what this means but it's saying the person danced for a long time.

ReplyDeleteBesides, on this assignment you were supposed to "write a poem that uses the poetry sounds literary devices we have studied." It should have been about one of your hobbies or an interesting personal experience. It should've includes the following elements:

-at least one example of onomatopoeia
-at least one example of alliteration
-at least one example of internal rhyme -100 words
-a labeled rhyme scheme listed below the poem (write it like this: ABCABC, or whatever your scheme is)
